In the city of Seattle, four rock n roll weirdos became acquainted with each other while taking smoke breaks at their practice facility. Even though none of them were in the same band together at the time, they realized that they had a love for rock music and similar twisted sense of humor. The bond between them soon grew and they decided to form a band to create kick ass rock music influenced by

The Ramones, Bad Brains, Melvins, Butthole Surfers and Mr Bungle and to bring that music always on time!

     This creation was called the PUNKTUALS and is led by D. Lee on guitars, Gator on vocals, Mickey Diablo on bass and Criss Crash on drums. The four began working out their tunes and recorded their first album BETTER NEVER THAN LATE at Birdhouse Studio Seattle. During this time at the studio they met the production team of FRIENDO RECORDS and have appeared and provided soundtracks in four of their short films; 2027, WIZARD OF DOOM, MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU and DANCING DREAMS.

     The PUNKTUALS were able to recruit Jack Endino to mix and master BETTER NEVER THAN LATE to get the awesome sound they were looking for. While on a break mastering the album, Jack Endino noticed that two of their movies were on the same hard drive as the music and watched those movies (2027 & WIZARD OF DOOM). Jack responded with a text to the head of FRIENDO RECORDS that said “HAHA OMG GENIUS!”

     BETTER NEVER THAN LATE was released 01/01/25 on FRIENDO RECORDS (Vinyl & CD) and the PUNKTUALS will be touring in 2025 to promote and support this album! The PUNKTUALS bring the best punk rock, always on time!
